spm kuar arini oi!

tahniah kepada pasukan tenaga pengajar smk taman widuri. berjaya menaikkan pointer sehingga 98.1% tahun ini. tersenarai sebagai sekolah yang gps (gred purata sekolah) spm paling tinggi di pulau pinang!! can u believe it??!! amboi skema mak. ni mak nak habaq, mak bangga nyah oi, biology, physic and chemistry semua 100% luluih. biar pun mak tak ajaq taun lepas nyah. hoh, taun ni mak cuak nyah. mak ajaq biology, yang mak ketaq  skali, budak taun ni tak macam budak taun lepas nyah oii! hadoinye pon! taun ni kurang ber..jadi sikit. tapi mak takmo givap nyah, mak takut hoi! choi. berat burden mak ni nyah, nak kekalkan biology 100%. sape tak cuak nyah?! banyak cikgu pandang rendah cikgu2 muda ni. kadang2 mak tak sabaq nak jadi tua nyah. hah, choi! mak cakap gitu ke nyah? !!

p/s: cuak punya pasal, identiti mak berubah temporarily, nyah.doakan mak, nyah. mak nak pi stadi bio dulu, pui!

sukarela nak HIV?

I relief a class. Today. Form one, and to be specific, the last class in the form. So the kids would be a bit, you know, 'lambat'. An incident that giggled me. Let share.

Spectator: me, at teacher desk.

Girl A: teacher, nurse panggil kami. nak pi suntik HIV. 

Me: Erk?! 

Then i let them went to health room. I realized it actually,  HPV, free dose that been given by kementerian kesihatan to female students in high schools. I wonder how they're mistaken HPV as HIV, maybe the pronunciation, they a bit rhythmic, ya? 

lucky them. for female adult, they need to buy those shots. quite expensive.

Back on track

Been ages since my last entry. Blogging really needs consistency and patience. What I mean by patience here is, I really need to be patient as waiting the internet to load. Can u imagine, blogging can be challenging somehow? Knowing that u need so much to express, but u need to hold inside as those mentioned before, are keeping me away from blogging? Ah, see? It need a paragraph to explain the disappearance of me from blogging world. 

Quick update since last entry would be:

1.       As reminder for myself, I’m engaged to a man who insyaallah will be my halal husband in about 3 months to go. 

1.  I’m already a science and biology teacher! I’ve been waiting for this moment for about quite awhile, since last year I had detour from my track, which I hold the title of ustazah and teacher as I’m teaching English, pendidikan islam and bahasa melayu. The minutes were endless. Sigh. (shoudn’t be, but couldn’t help, please put yourself in my shoes). But this year begins with passion and joy as I’m put so much effort in spending my time to present the best, yes, I really mean the best for my students, especially biology. But then it begins to change, I guess. Into the negative one. I become famished, tired, weary, not to mention, exhausted. Ah, maybe I’ve being too pessimist. Hold on, teacher nadiah. It wasn’t like I regret, I am grateful, profoundly. 
2. As 3 months to go for me to change my status, there are loads of works regards on the wedding itself. By the way, I should re-organize my planner back. I’ll update it later, in the meantime, my head is full of questions. The questions are too many and too various to answer. What I want for my wedding, how my wedding flow, how to become a wife and how to treat a husband. Err, I don’t need answers, here.
3. I got chickenpox. Last week, and it still be. I guess I’d turned into a trifle pale. High fever, rib cage shivering and tonne of rocks in my head. Chickenpox is quite dangerous, I mean, very dangerous, girls, if you are trying so hard to get a soft, smooth skin for your wedding haha. I went to the dermatologist and this chickenpox costs me rm300 to get rid off it, insyaallah.

kenapa hiccups terjadik??

hiccups (hiccough) atau dalam base melayunya, sedu, cegukan) bese terjadi disebabkan oleh otot diafragma kata x berfungsi ngan elok.

ni struktur tulang rusuk dan segala isi dalam kalau kta tarik n tolak nafas.

epiglottis tu bertindak mcm penutup. kta ada trakea (salur pernafasan) n esophagus (salur makanan) sebelah menyebelah. so, bila kta mkn, epiglottis ni akan tutup trakea supaya mknn x termasuk dlm trakea.

bila kta mengalami hiccups, otot diafragma kta ni contract atau relax pd ms yg x seswai ngan kebukaan n ketutupan epiglottis. contohnya, bila diafragma contracts utk membenarkan udara masuk melalui trakea, kebetulan epiglottis tu menutup salur trakea scra mengejut. jd secara autonya, akn menghalang udara masuk scr mengejut laa. jd tu la bunyik nya hik..hik...
sbb epiglottis ni halang udara masuk scr paksa.

erm...kind of la mechanismnya..

cara nk melegakan hiccups:
1) minum air banyak2 pada 1 masa
2) taaaarikk nafas dalam2, pastu tahan
3)ni yg saya jumpa, 30 saat je diperlukan

For overall best results, please try to do the steps as quickly as you can and try very hard not to let any air out.

Step 1: Start by inhaling through your mouth until your lungs feel full (when it feels like you cannot inhale any more.... your lungs will basically stop taking in air).

Step 2: Swallow. You are not really swallowing anything but it seems that without this act, it doesn’t work.

Step 3: Now inhale some more until your lungs feel full again. You may not be able to inhale a lot, but do get some more air in. It will start to get difficult to do this as you go, but keep trying. You obviously can’t suck in as much air as you did initially, but just a little will do (think of it as taking a “sip” of air).

Step 4: Swallow again. This too will start to get difficult as you go.

Step 5: Repeat steps 3 and 4 (inhale and swallow) until you cannot swallow again. While it seems you can almost always suck in just a little more air, it is the swallowing that gets to be impossible. When you feel like you cannot swallow again, swallow again anyway. It will be hard to do, your face will probably turn red, and you may make squeaking sounds. But you CAN swallow one last time. By this time, your lungs should also be quite full and it should be difficult to get much more air in as well. While you should try not to let any air out, if you have really repeated steps 3 and 4 as many times as you can, you probably will end up letting a little out before you can take that last swallow. If you find that air keeps escaping out of your nose even early in the process, try squeezing it shut with your fingers.

Step 6: Exhale.

i hate him...i do hate him everytime...
but i have to respect him..
because he is so powerful...
controlling my life, my future...
he can give happiness, or sadness...


whatever, i have to fight..
cause i know i'll succeed then, with no fear..
to you anymore, Mr Examination..
that is what i'll be a champion..

post scriptum: nex sem is the last part, then i think i'll be missing a piece of you, Mr Exam...

the power of cat saliva

premis 1: belakang umah saya ade kucing2 liar
premis 2: saya sangat gilakan kucing( mksudnya saya sangat suka kucin, bukan kucing gila)
kesimpulan: saya akan bermain kejar mengejar dengan kucing di belakang rumah..
natijahnya: dek perangai sy itu, baru2 ini sy telah berjaya menyelamatkan sekor anak kucin dr lemas ddalam longkang, maka dia membalas budi saya dengan meninggalkan kesan gigit pd jari sy..terimas dowh..

setelah beberapa hari ini, kesan gigi tersebut x ilang2 lagi, malah lagi saket..
sy membelek2 lubang kt jari tu..
pastu teringat project masa part 5 dulu (sem 5)..

here's my story...

microbiology project sy psl antibacteria in cat saliva..
nk tgk ade antibacteria dlm cat saliva x utk kill bacteria specifically in human wounds..
group member: 4 or 5 (dah lupe)
project tu memaksa kami merayau2 belakang lorong dpn kampus utk cari kucing kurap+ jalanan
+liar..
sambil pkai sterilized cotton buds n tubes, tebongkang bongkok duk korek mulut kucin2..
kitorg x laa jht sgt utk mengorek begitu saje, lalu ktorg bribe kucin2 tersebut dgn mknan2 yg agak istimewa bg sekor kucin jalanan..
kejar...
tangkap...
korek...
gigit...
dan korek lagi..
hampir muntaah...
mtk maaf...
cari kucin lain...

akhirnya, dpt gk 5 sampel saliva kucin, ada yg jantan,betina, xtaw kategori ape n anak2 kucin..
bwk balik lab, proses..tny dr...
dr kata salah, pegi cari kucin laen ngan gaya+cara yg berbeza..
balik lab balik..
salah lagi..
cari lagi..
round yg 3 ni..
berjaya bwk balik saliva kucin yg still basah2..

bla..bla...bla...

4 ari kendian, kuarkan dr oven 5 sampel bacteria yg sedia dihidangkan..
bacteria tu @ 1st generation..
idop subur dlm medium cik faizi..ahak
modified..
bla...bla..bla..
2nd generation..
then 3rd..
ntah bape generation..
pastu bg react ngan saliva tuh...

2 weeks later(agaknya)

results: the cat saliva do react with the bacteria from human skin, tp x react dgn bacteria laen (bulu kucin, mknn tercemar)
conclusion: walaupun saliva kucing x sekuat saliva anjing dr segi antibacteria properties, tp it do react and kill the human skin's bacter...
myth: busted!

p/s: hari pencarian kucin itulah berlakunya hari paling teruk dalam sejarah idupku...

kalu nyamuk yg bukan2 camne?
mksudnya kalu nyamuk tiruk ke, aedes(btol ke eja tu) ke..
tetiba terpikir psl penyakit yg leh dibawa oleh nyamuk..
pastu tetiba terfikir penyakit2 yg wujud didunia ni..
seperti penyakit sickle-cell anemia..

it's kind of cool to know that female have that mechanism..
the kind of, which you lower your level to get to the same level with male..

it goes like this..

chromosomes divides into 2, autosomal n sex..
autosomal controls..ermm..kontrol semua trait kita xcept sex..(senang citer)
meanwhile sex chromosomes control our gender, primary n secondary sex characteristics..

pompuan punya sex chromosomes ade XX, laki2 lak XY..
this differences due to the male sperm donor..diorg yg tentukan jantina baby sebenarnya,
sbb Y chromosome hanya ada pada lelaki je..
diorg blh derma 2 jenis, X and Y..
pompuan limited to X je..
then, xleh salahkan pompuan yek kalo xleh baby boy..

okeh, sifat fizikal yg dikurniakan oleh Allah pd chromosomes ni adaah..
X bersifat besar dan lebih panjang, kapasiti dia pun lg byk..
maknanya thousands of genes located there..
while Y is more smaller, terlalulah keciknya
n only a few genes located there..
means that the capacity also low..eheh..
ni perbezaan diorg..

adapun lelaki punya chromosome sikit kapasiti berbanding pompuan..
sbb Y lebih kecik dr X..
jd pompuan ni kne inactive kan salah satu chromosome X dia..
utk bg sama level ngan lelaki..

so, if female do not inactivate one of their Xs,
